Central Louisana Medical Academy was founded in July of 1999 by Kaylon M. Smith, RN, on the belief that aspiring Nursing Assistants and Phlebotomists needed an environment where they could learn from text books and from experienced practicioners alike.
Central Louisiana Medical Academy is a private school which is licensed by the Board of Regents for the State of Louisiana. The CNA program is approved by the Department of Health & Hospitals.
Central Louisiana Medical Academy is monitored by both the Board of Regents and the Department of Health & Hospitals.
Recently, a Administrative Medical Assistant Program was added and Central Louisiana Medical Academy is an approved testing site for the National Healthcareer Association.
